Veteran Monuments
At most National, State, and Tribal cemeteries, monuments stand as solemn tributes to the veterans who have given their lives for our country. Millions of dollars are invested by federal and state governments to create grand displays of marble and bronze, ensuring that our heroes are honored in these sacred spaces. However, in stark contrast, many community and municipal cemeteries, which also serve as the final resting places for numerous veterans, lack such monuments or recognition. We believe that every cemetery housing a significant numbers of veterans, regardless of that location, deserves a monument that reflects the sacrifices of our brave men and women made for our nation and the freedoms we hold dear.
This belief is the driving force behind our Monuments Program. Our mission is to ensure that community and municipal cemeteries—where many veterans are laid to rest—have prominent, meaningful monuments. These monuments not only honor our fallen heroes but also serve as gathering places for the community, providing an opportunity for remembrance and reflection throughout the year. Through this initiative, we strive to offer veterans the respect and recognition they so deeply deserve, no matter where they are buried.
Cemetery Flag Poles
Most veterans serve in the United States Armed Forces out of a profound love for their country— a love so deep that they are willing to lay down their lives to protect it. They fight to defend the principles and values that are foundational to the American way of life, believing these ideals are worth the ultimate sacrifice. They give their lives so that future generations—our children, grandchildren, and beyond—can inherit the freedoms and opportunities that define us as Americans.
For generations, the American flag has symbolized freedom and the enduring values of our nation. We believe that every cemetery we serve, no matter its size, should proudly fly this symbol. The flag should stand as a beacon, a reminder to the community and visitors alike that American veterans rest there. It should serve as a watchful sentinel, guarding the heroes who gave their lives, or were willing to do so, for the very freedoms we hold dear.
Memorial Services
Our Memorial Services Program is designed to honor the veterans we serve in meaningful and impactful ways throughout the year. With each veteran’s gravesite already adorned with a 12x18 American flag, flying proudly 24/7, 365 days a year, we wanted to create a program that would complement this symbol of respect.
On Memorial Day and Veterans Day, we place a single poppy flower at each veteran’s grave to express our deep gratitude. On Independence Day, a red rose is laid as a token of thanks for their sacrifices in defending our freedoms. Additionally, on the anniversary of each veteran's passing, we honor their memory by placing a wreath at their gravesite, which remains for seven days.
We also participate in numerous community events on Memorial Day and Veterans Day, where we distribute poppy pins, flags, and remembrance dog tags to those who join us in paying tribute. This program ensures that the memory of our fallen heroes is kept alive and that their sacrifices are always remembered with honor.
