Phillip Lamar Lux, born on December 5, 1938, in Boerne, TX, was a man of deep-rooted passions and unwavering dedication. Raised amidst the rustic charm of Bulverde, his love for ranching and farming blossomed early on. Spending 27 years at LCRA, he poured his heart into his work while nurturing Hereford cattle and hogs on his beloved ranch.

Phillip's adventurous spirit knew no bounds. With a wanderlust that took him across the United States, he found solace in exploration and connection to his heritage through membership in the Germania Farmer Verein for over three decades.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Phillip served his community with distinction as a dedicated member of the Bexar Bulverde Volunteer Fire Department Service board for over 20 years.

Despite the passing of his parents, son Joel John Lux, and brother Harry Lee Lux, Phillip's legacy of love and laughter lives on through his children, Lori, Glen, and Gail Lindell, and a network of cherished family and friends.

For those fortunate enough to have known Phillip, his vibrant spirit and zest for life were ever-present. As he embarked on his final journey on July 4, his departure was marked not by sorrow, but by a celebration of independence, leaving behind memories to be treasured and a legacy that will endure for generations to come.
