Patrick Arlon Engel lived a life filled with love, dedication, and service to his country and family. Born on July 19, 1948, in Bergheim, Texas, he grew up as the youngest of three siblings to Frank and Hilda Engel. After graduating from Canyon High School in 1966, Patrick felt a calling to serve his nation, leading him to enlist in the United States Navy.

During his time in the Navy, Patrick met Martha Nickell, and their connection blossomed into a loving marriage that lasted forty-nine years. Together, they raised three children: Karen, Steven, and Michael. Patrick found immense joy in watching his family grow, cherishing every moment spent with them.

Throughout his life, Patrick was known for his unwavering dedication to his loved ones and his willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. His kind and compassionate nature left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.

Patrick's legacy lives on through his wife, Martha, his children, grandchildren, and sister Bernice, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. His memory will be cherished for generations to come.
