Kenneth Gary Vann, Sr., dedicated his life to service and honor. A graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in 1981, he pursued further education at San Antonio College before answering the call to serve his country.

Kenneth's commitment to duty led him to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he bravely served in Operation Desert Storm. Upon returning home, he continued his service as a Deputy Sheriff with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, beginning in 1985.

Over the course of his distinguished career, Kenneth served in various roles within the Sheriff's Office, including the Detention Division, Law Enforcement, Traffic Enforcement, and Court Security. His dedication and leadership qualities were recognized when he was promoted to Investigator and ultimately achieved the rank of Sergeant in the Patrol Division.

As a Supervisor and esteemed member of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office Dive Team, Kenneth exemplified the values of integrity, courage, and selflessness. For more than 26 years, he proudly served the citizens of Bexar County, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering dedication and commitment to public safety.
