Jesse Zuniga Jr., born on March 26, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas, to Jesus and Mercedes Zuniga, lived a life of service, dedication, and love. He passed away on March 24, 2022, in Spring Branch, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of profound impact and cherished memories.

Jesse's commitment to his country was evident in his proud service in the United States Navy. Following his military tenure, he embarked on a successful career at Freeman Decorating Company, where he rose to the position of Operations Manager. Upon retirement, Jesse found joy in spending quality time with his beloved family, relishing every moment with his children and grandchildren.

A devout parishioner at St. Joseph's Honey Creek, Jesse lived his faith through acts of generosity and kindness. He generously supported numerous charities, embodying the spirit of compassion and service to others.

In his leisure time, Jesse found solace in working on various projects around the house, reveling in the satisfaction of creating and building. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he cherished every opportunity to create lasting memories with them.

Jesse leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be forever cherished by his children, Diane Zuniga "Jr" and Jennifer Vega, along with his grandchildren, Maricela Morales, Elizabeth Davenport, Nadia Davenport, Genevieve Vega, Joshua Davenport, Dean Davenport, and Jacob Davenport. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Guajardo and Lucy Reyes, and numerous other extended family members.

While Jesse's passing brings profound sadness, he is now reunited with his beloved wife, Diane Zuniga, and his siblings Mike Zuniga, Irene Hernandez, and Molly Castillo. Their reunion in eternity serves as a testament to the enduring bonds of love and family.

Jesse Zuniga Jr.'s life was a testament to the values of service, love, and devotion. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
